Today marks the day of two glorious events:
In 1904, the ice cream cone debuted at the St Louis Worlds Fair.
In 1967, the first successful liver transplant took place.
So, we’ll focus today on abusing our livers with 2 beer checks, several shot checks, and you will be on your own to celebrate the ice cream milestone.
Runners trail will go a bit over 6 miles
Walkers trail will be about 4 miles
Both are dog friendly and will start out with a short bit of bushwhacking, but then all will be treated to miles of trails most pleasant to run on. Opportunities abound to cool off your hot bodies in a wonderful stream with a scenic waterfall and pool.
Dry bag will be a good idea.
