(to the tune of “My Favorite Things”, with apologies to Rogers & Hammerstein)
Muddy shoes, dirty clothes, Frozen shoe laces, P-I and green briars in your private places. Hot tub and curry soup, Vindaloo wings, These are a few of my hashiest things
(refrain)
If the dogs fight, it’s your own fault, This is Dinsdale’s yard, Cum on to Fossil’s for hashing next week, And I’ll guarantee it’s hard.
Beaver dams, asphalt, and plenty of shiggy, Marshes and tunnels, so crawl like a piggy, Hot tub and curry soup, Vindaloo wings, These are a few of my hashiest things!
What? The 1032th running the Baltimore Annapolis Hash House Harriers! When? Jan 20, 2008, 3pm SHARP! Where? Chesapeake Beach, Calvert County, MD (see below for d'erections) Why? Fossil's almost annual curry feed and hottubbing party! Trail Notes: A to B, bring a dry bag (the above rhymes badly, but it does contain kernels of truth). NOT stroller friendly. Trail is dog friendly, but dogs at the on-after have to deal with Dinsdale, but he has mellowed a bit.
D'erections:
From the South: Get onto MD Rt 4 at Lexington Park, and go NORTH. At the Rt 2-4 split in Sunderland go NORTH on Rt 2 towards Annapolis. At the intersection of Rt 2 and Rt 260, follow instructions below.
From the West: Exit the DC Beltway at Exit 11, Pennsylvania Ave / Rt 4. Go EAST towards Solomon's Island (you'll pass through Upper Marlboro). After about 12 miles, At the intersection of Rt 4 and Rt 260, follow instructions below.
From the North: Make your best way to Rt 2 in Annapolis (Solomons Island Road). Proceed SOUTH about 25 miles
When you reach Rt 260, go EAST towards Chesapeake Beach. Rt 260 ends at an intersection with Rt 261. Turn RIGHT (SOUTH) onto Rt 261. Turn RIGHT at the water park (just past the Fastop / Citgo station), turn RIGHT into the municipal parking lot, park & hash.
onon!
